    • Narcissus Proby settled his estates in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin on his wife, should she survive him. In return, the couple were to receive the interest and dividends on £2,116 in 3 per cent reduced bank annuities in the name of the Revd Thomas Dawson (presumably the bride's uncle or grandfather on her mother, Catherine Dawson's side), with the principal passing to their children on their decease. Narcissus subsequently, with his wife and Trustee's agreement, sold £1,037 10s of the annuities to pay off a mortgage incurred by his father on property in Ireland which descended to him.
