  • Name Laurence Weller
    Born Abt 1540
    Gender Male
    Bequest 30 Mar 1548  [1
In his grandfather, Laurence Sharpey's will
    • He was left £10 plus a share of 50 marks and 40 shillings interest (per year for 10 years) bequeathed to him and his siblings.
    Bequest 1596  [2
In his brother, Alexander Weller's will
    • He was left 40 shillings and was appointed an overseer of the will.
    Name Laurence Wellar  [1
    Occupation Parish clerk  [3
Will 1597  Cranbrook, Kent Find all individuals with events at this location  [4
    • He divided his property and his goods between his wife, Sara and his son, Alexander, and left financial bequests to his daughters, Joan, Margaret and Ellen. Presumably he made no mention of his daughter Agnes because she was already married and no longer his responsibility. The lack of reference to his younger sons, Thomas and Laurence (mentioned in his widow's will) suggests they were under age and to be cared for using the legacy he left his wife.
