      6 July 1855, p.2229
      WHEREAS a Petition of Stephen Lansdell, of No. 49, East-street, Brighton, in the county of Sussex, Carver and Gilder, an insolvent debtor, having been filed in the County Court of Sussex, at Brighton, and an interim order for protection from process having been given to the said Stephen Lansdell, under the provisions of the Statutes in that case made and provided, the said Stephen Lansdell is hereby required to appear before the said Court, on the 14th day of July instant, at ten of the clock in the forenoon precisely, for his first examination touching his debts, estate, and effects, and to be further dealt with according to the provisions of the said Statutes; and the choice of the creditors' assignees is to take place at the time so appointed. All persons indebted to the said Stephen Lansdell, or that have any of his effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to Mr. Ewen Evershed, Clerk of the said Court, at his office, at Princes-place, Old Steine, Brighton, the Official Assignee of the estate and effects of the said insolvent.

      NOTICE is hereby given, that the County Court of Sussex, at Brighton, acting in the matter of this Petition, will proceed to make a Final Order thereon, at the said Court, on the 11th day of August next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon precisely, unless cause be then and there shown to the contrary.
