To my wife Joan, my messuage & land thereto, called Tellden, situated in Cranbrook, in tenure of Humphrey BERNES, on condition that my wife bring up my children until each is 16.
My wife Joan shall pay my 3 daus.: Agnes, Eliz., & Susan SHARPPY £40 each when 20 or married.
If my wife should die before my sons Samuel & Robt. SHARPPY are 24, then my execs. are to collect money, etc., in place of my wife.
My messuage & land thereto, to my sons Samuel & Robt. SHARPPY when 24. If they should die before then, without lawful issue, then after my wife's death, my messuage & land thereto shall go to my sons Alex., Rich., Geo., and John SHARPPY.
£60 shall be paid to my wife because of a bond we have between us.

To Laur. my son, my mansion house, etc., I now dwell in, in Cranbrook, specified in a certain deed of feoffment.
To my son Stph., my messuage called Bockingfold in Goudhurst, also 16 acres of land in Marden & Goudhurst in the occupation of WILLINSHERST.
To my son Alex., land in the tenure of Walter SCOTSHFORDE & a parcel I occupy in the town of Cranbrook in the den of Thornden, I bought of Alex. DENCE, late of Cranbrook.
To my son Rich., my messuage in Goudhurst occupied by Rich. HODGE.
Also to him, 4 other parcels of land in Goudhurst called Hobbes Lands (15 acres) occupied by Wm. WILLERDE.
To Geo. & John, my sons, my messuage in Goudhurst in tenure of Nich. WALTER.
To my dau. Mary SHARPPY, 12 acres of land in Hawkhurst parish, purchased of Rich. BRICKENDEN of Cranbrook.
