    • He described himself as a yeoman of Bexhill. He left 40s to the poor of that parish and £280 to his daughter, Mary, the wife of Thomas Duke of Bexhill, yeoman. He left the residue of his estate to his two sons, Samuel Cramp of Catsfield and John Cramp of Bexhill. He made no mention of his wife, Hannah, despite the fact that she appears to have survived him.
