    • The 1911 census entry for Frederick and Maria Simpson correctly stated that they had been married for 25 years, but also recorded that there had been seven children of the marriage of whom two had died. It seems likely that the seven children referred to were the product of Frederick and Maria's previous marriages as well. However, no evidence has yet been found that any of the seven children produced by the three marriages involved had died by 1911.
