• Notes

  Mary may have been the Mary Kemp who married a Thomas Hilder in Mountfield on 2 Sep 1791. However there was a second couple called Thomas and Mary Hilder having children in Mountfield after Thomas Hilder of Burwash was widowed and there were children baptised to Thomas and Mary in Mountfield between 1792 and 1799 who might have been the children of either of these couples so it is not clear which Thomas married Mary Kemp.
