      Marriages
      MR. R. PATTERSON AND MISS M. PORTMAN.
      The marriage took place yesterday, at All Saints', Ennismore-gardens, of Mr. Raymond Patterson, son of Emily Lady Scott, of 49, Prince's-gate, and Miss Marigold Portman, daughter of the late Mr. C. B. Portman, of Ceylon, and of Mrs. Cecil Portman, of 115, Queen's-gate. The Rev. Alan Portman officiated.
      The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Captain Charles Forbes, wore a dress of ivory broché taffeta with a bow of plain taffeta at the hips and the train of old family Brussels lace was lined with silver tissue and edged with a trail of orange-blossom. A lace veil was arranged with a pointed lace coronet and clusters of orange-blossom, and she carried a bouquet of pink roses. Master John Portman and Master Andrew Forbes were the pages, in white sailor suits, and Miss Susan Lowndes was also a trainbearer, dressed in a white tulle frock and wreath of coloured flowers. Miss Elizabeth and Miss Barbara Coates were the bridesmaids, and wore dresses of green, blue and pink floral chiffon, with wreaths of blue and green velvet flowers, and they carried bouquets of pink and mauve sweet peas. Mr. H. L. Colman was best man, and a reception was afterwards held by Mrs. Portman at 28, Cadogan-gardens (lent by Mrs. Henty). Among those present were:-
